{"id":12245,"date":"2010-05-02T21:24:38","date_gmt":"2010-05-03T02:24:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.anthonyreinke.com\/?p=245"},"modified":"2010-05-02T21:24:38","modified_gmt":"2010-05-03T02:24:38","slug":"splunk-dashboards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anthonyreinke.com\/index.php\/2010\/05\/02\/splunk-dashboards\/","title":{"rendered":"Splunk Dashboards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have begun building my own dashboards in Splunk. \u00a0Once I have the custom views built, I will post them up here. \u00a0So far everything I have been working on is with a system&#8217;s administrator in mind because that is what I have been doing for the past 12 years (wow, thats a long time). \u00a0Currently I am building a view for searching failed\u00a0logins\u00a0and the source of lockouts. \u00a0They tie in to one another. \u00a0Our technicians want to be more involved in the systems administration and\u00a0hopefully\u00a0this will help them respond quicker to our customers. \u00a0Everything comes from Splunk being installed on all our domain controllers. \u00a0From there we get all the logs in to our central logging system (Splunk). \u00a0Due to the amount of data we are pushing now everyday, we might have to build a backup environment just for our Splunk data. \u00a0How awesome is this!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have begun building my own dashboards in Splunk. \u00a0Once I have the custom views built, I will post them up here. \u00a0So far everything I have been working on is with a system&#8217;s administrator in mind because that is what I have been doing for the past 12 years (wow, thats a long time).
